Hello My Fellow Stampers,
Here is a quick run down of our classes coming up in October. We have a lot of great classes coming your way. So here we go!!!
Saturday, October 2nd
Intro to Copic Markers with Lori
9:00 – Noon
This class covers basic coloring techniques using the marvelous Copic markers. You will learn how these markers work, what inks to use with them to achieve the best results plus how these alcohol markers can be blended. These aren’t your usual markers-you will be amazed how they cover without any streaks. This is a fabulous opportunity to ‘play’ with these versatile markers. You will also get supplies to make 2 cards using A Muse Artstamp images. NOTE: If you have your own Copic markers, feel free to bring them. Make sure you have all your markers labeled with your
The Copic Café – Let’s Face It with Lori
1:30 – 4:30
This technique class will focus on coloring faces. You will learn basic blending for several skin tones using your Copic markers. The small class size allows for individual assistance as you practice coloring faces and skin on adorable images from A Muse Artstamps, Hero Arts, and The Greeting Farm. You must have your own Copic markers and have completed Copic Intro. Class or have instructor approval to attend. The list of Copics will be provided for you when you pay for class.
Friday, October 15th
The Copic Café – Blonds, Brunettes and Red Heads, OH MY! with Lori
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This technique class will focus on coloring hair. You will learn basic blending and feathering techniques while experimenting with a variety of hair colors. The small class size allows for individual assistance as you practice coloring different styles of hair on images by A Muse Artstamps, Hero Arts and The Greeting Farm. You must have your own Copic markers and have completed Copic Intro. Class or have instructor approval to attend. The list of Copics will be provided for you.
Saturday, October 16th
Outline Posies with Carole
1:00 – 4:00
Join Carole using Outline’s newest flowers made for layering. You will create four beautiful cards using these newest creations.
Wednesday, October 20th
20% Off Day
This is your day to come in to the store is save money on all the products you have had your eye on. **This is for product on hand. Does not include special order pick-ups, special orders placed, gift certificates, sale merchandise. Club cards will not be stamped and cannot be redeemed.
Saturday, October 23rd
It’s a Date with Lori
9:00 – Noon
It’s Calendar Time! We will create a wire-bound 2011 desk calendar using a multitude of critter stamps from A Muse. A perpetual calendar is included, which is great for keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates. Personalized calendars make great (and useful!) gifts for teachers, students, family and friends! *Required class supplies: Basic stamp kit (A cutter will be available for classroom use, but you may find having your own useful.)
Penny Black “Cutie Patooties” with Kelly
1:00 – 4:00
Have you seen the lates Mimi and Betsy Bluebell images by Penny Black? AMAZING!!! I just couldn’t resist---I have put together a 5-card class using these new super sweet “Cutie Patootie” little girl images. This class will be a mix of three all occasion cards and two Christmas cards (I can’t believe it’s that time of year again!) Come join us for some fun. It is sure to be INK-CREDIBLE!
Thursday, October 28th
Christmas Ornament Toppers with Carole
1:00 – 4:00
Using Outline stamps you will create beautiful ornament toppers. These will make great gifts for family, friends, co-workers, hostess gifts…Check the blog for a beautiful sample of what can be created. This is not a class sample just an idea of what you will make in class. Get ready to emboss, cut and layer your way to a great gift that can be personalized to anyone’s Christmas decorations.
Saturday, October 30th
The Greeting Farm with Lori Time TBA (Watch the blog)
A Copic coloring fun time with images from The Greeting Farm. We will create 4 cards and a large tag featuring Anya, Ivan and some of the Cheeky Cherry collection. These adorable images are full of personality and charm! They are perfect for all occasion cards for both young and old. So grab your basic stamping kit and any Copic markers you have and join me at The Greeting Farm!

You must sign up and pre-pay for all classes. We accept cash, checks made out to Stamp Works (there is a $30 fee for all returned checks on top of class fees), and DEBIT cards ONLY.
There are NO REFUNDS due to the time, money, and hard work all the teacher’s put in to class preparations. You may send someone in your place. Some classes may or may not have a class kit. You will receive a refund if we cancel a class. You receive a class discount on the day of class. Some exclusions do apply. Please mark your calendar when you sign up for a class.
Reminder calls will NOT be made.

**Please bring a class kit to EVERY class. This includes scissors, adhesive of choice (i.e. tape runner, glue stick, etc.) dimensional foam tape, quickie glue pen, bone folder. Some other items to consider bringing are: x-acto knife and self healing mat, ruler, pencil and any other items that might make your class experience more enjoyable.
