Hello My Fellow Stampers,
Well it’s that time of year again when the weather starts to get warmer and you know what that means. It’s a great time to get stamping!!! And to get you off to a fun start why not join in the fun with the Stamp, Paper, Scissors Craft Hop from May 15th to May 29th. There are 11 stores all over Arizona participating this year. All you need to do is purchase a passport for $7 and that enables you to receive a 15% discount on all purchases you make in each participating store and free make-n-takes, where available. We will be having a different make-n-take everyday during the hop. For an additional $18, you will receive a large black tote with custom pink embroidery on it. The tote is a $40 value. It is big enough to hold a Cricket machine. The $18 that you pay also enables you to receive a 20% discount on all purchases made during the craft hop rather than the 15% with the passport. In order for everyone to have the opportunity to participate, we will be having special hours during the hop. We will be open Tuesday thru Saturday 10a.m. to 7 p.m. Why not join the fun and special savings!!!
New at Stamp Works: The Copic Café. Lori Barnett is a Certified Copic Designer and is offering a new series of classes called The Copic Cafe’. These classes will focus on specific topics and techniques. She will have a variety of sessions for all skill levels. Isn’t this exciting! Whether you are new to Copic’s or have been using them already, you are sure to find a workshop of interest. Be sure to watch for these fun filled sessions on the Stamp Works blog and the Stamp Works website Calendar of Classes & Events. Her first class will be on Friday, May 28th. Make sure to check out the class description below.

Simple Celebrations with Lori Barnett

This class will get you ready for a variety of celebrations that come your way. Learn simple tricks to make quick, yet sensational greeting cards in a jiffy. In this class you get to decide what sentiment to stamp on each card! These 5 designs feature the latest release from A Muse Artstamps and will become a great staple for your last-minute card needs.
Iris Folding with Carol Donasky

This will be Carol’s last class for the season. She’s heading back up the mountain until winter. In this class you will make 3 adorable cards plus a bonus.

Copic Techniques with Lori Barnett

If you’ve already taken the Copic Intro. Class, and are ready to get more out of your markers, this class is for you. We will be using Copic markers along with A Muse products to learn some blending and shading techniques, while making 4 cards. NOTE: For this class you must bring your own markers -- along with your basic stamping kit. You also must have completed the Copic Introduction Class. A list of marker colors needed will be provided prior to class. (if you have registered - you can email Lori for the marker list at loribarnett@cox.net)

Ready to take your Copic skills to the next level? Learn to create eye-popping special effects with these versatile markers! And, if you’ve ever been curious about Copic’s airbrush system this is the class for you! These techniques are great for all kinds of paper crafting projects! In addition to your basic class kit, please bring a 0-Blender Copic marker.

Magenta has created some unique stencils to create birds and butterflies. The sample cards are a “must see”. You will also create a beautifully decorated birdhouse card.

Stampavie has become one of my favorites and I can’t wait to share my latest creations with you. The gorgeous little girls and whimsical garden settings featured in designer Sarah Kay’s stamps are sure to steal your heart. Come join me and practice techniques using Copic markers and Prisma colored pencils with Gamsol to color these amazing images. These cards are perfect for every occasion!!!
Selphi Demo with Tricia Samsol

It’s official…I am addicted to Stampendous. The little animated bee and butterfly stamps used in this class are so SUPER CUTE. We will be making 5 BODACIOUS all occasion cards in this class including a patriotic themed card in honor of Memorial Day.
