Class Pictures

Here are a few pictures from Saturday. One of my instructors stopped in for the make & take. She had her camera in hand and was kind enough to snap a few pictures for me.

I really enjoy seeing pictures of everyone having fun during classes. Most of the time I'm so busy in the store that I don't have a spare moment to peek in and see what you all are doing -- especially on Saturdays when I'm running the shop and the make & take.

These pics are from the Saturday afternoon class. If you are ready to take your stamping to a new level, sign up for one of Ken Pesho's fabulous Stampboard classes. This is such a cool technique!

Here we are doing the make & take.

This adorable snowman is from Penny Black. The snowflake is new from A Muse Artstamps.

Tip: The Essential Glue Pad from Tsukineko is a fast and easy way to cover a large area with ultra fine glitter. Make sure the glue adhesive has been applied liberally to the Essential Glue Pad and then tap the glue pad directly to the paper layer you want to cover with glitter. After you have the piece covered with the glue, simply sprinkle on the glitter and let it dry. You can find lots of helpful tips using the Glue Pad on the Tsukineko website HERE.

One last bit of information. The Saturday Make & Take is usually busiest between the morning and afternoon class. To avoid a crowd and having to wait - it is best to come before 11:30 am or after 1:00 pm.

Nic

A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA FUN!

The party has started!

Everyone is having a blast celebrating A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA! If you haven't already, I hope you can stop by the store to see all the new A Muse products - maybe even take one of the classes. There are over 30 cards and projects on display!

Here are a few pictures Lori took of all the fun we are having. If you happen to take any pics during the event, I would love for you to share them with me.

Friday - Santa's Toy Box
These ladies made the cutest little toy chest and then filled it with 14 adorable gift tags.

Saturday - Make & Take
I always have a make & take project on Saturday's - but today Lori took the floor. Not only did we use new A Muse stamps - but she demo'd how to use the Scor-Pal. Everyone loved this card and were amazed at how quick and easy it was to create.

The party continues next week Tuesday - Saturday. Hope to can join us!

Nic

Fun in the Sun

Sun-sational Saturday!

I though I would share a couple pics from Saturday's Simply Sun-sational class. These ladies had a blast!

I wish I could have been in there stamping the morning away with them - but I was VERY busy in the store with the make-n-take. Plus...it was the 20th - and you know what that means...20% OFF DAY. It was a busy busy day!

Only a couple more weeks till A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA! Have you reserved your spot in those classes yet? The A Muse News Blog has some contests going on right now as we countdown to the big event. The new images being released by A Muse Artstamps at this event are top secret. There are no class samples on display...but you are going to LOVE these new Winter Holiday stamps!

The July Class Calendar has been posted. You can see all the classes HERE.

There are still a few classes this month. Please call the store to check availability.

Happy Stamping,
Nic

Stamp Works is now Blogging!

Hi everyone! This blog is being created for Nic at Stamp Works in Chandler, AZ. My name is Tricia. I am a teacher at Stamp Works and am helping Nic out by starting her blog for her. I'm going to try to get her to do some posts but she is always super busy at the store, so you might see a lot from me. I have been blogging for over a year now, and have met so many wonderful people all over the world. Blogging has really opened my eyes to a much broader audience.
I'm hoping that with this blog it will open up lots more customers and artists to Stamp Works. Nic has a lot of customers that only visit the store a few times a year when they are here for the winter months and some that come weekly. So with this blog, you can see what is going on in the store when you can't make it. We will try to post pics of all the classes and descriptions, and maybe even have some pics of classes going on. Please leave a comment and we will add you to our mailing list. I have not learned everything there is to know about blogging but I am learning, so bear with me. I have a blog myself, you can link to it on the side bar--vintagebliss.typepad.com. I love to look at pics so I will always have pics with posts. So, with this first post. I thought I would share some pics of the store I took a few months ago.
